TechTrotter is a multimedia exploration of the world’s technology hubs told in video, audio and text. The focus of TechTrotter is innovation in the developing world, where social media technology and mobile communications devices are enabling a new generation of entrepreneurs to compete on a global scale.
TechTrotter is the vision of Chikodi Chima, currently a student at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. In May 2009, Chima will graduate with his M.S. with a digital media concentration. Chima’s work has been published in Venture Beat, Always On, New York Press, The Philadelphia Weekly, PBS.org and CollegeMogul.com.
Chima has worked at Google, MTV and TRACE Magazine. Chima recently traveled to Bangalore, India where he taught journalism and creative writing at the Parirkrma Humanity Foundation Schools. Chima has also made recent trips to Argentina, China, Colombia, Israel and Nigeria.
